Aye Dixie, as it turned out, the rehersal wus invaluable! I hadn't realised that I wus giving away me daughter fur NOTHING!
I handed her ta the bloke and held out me hand fur the cash . . . NOTHING!

I won't stick around - partly cos I got a wedding tomorra, but mostly cos the barmaid at me local kept giving me one more fur the road (and kisses!).
