Petal, I've just found out what was causing me to be intermitent, it's taken me ages to solve it after asking for help from my ISP provider and my friends in the poot shop and generally driving everyone to distraction. I'd put a BT caller display in line on the phone in the kitchen. As soon as that was removed the poot runs great in the other room.

How does that mess up the poot interwebby thing ??
