I'm late again I know...time flies when on PC.
I've been looking around at all the stuff on Windows 7
Stopped a few services & start up items I didn't need, still seems slow to shut down though...more googling me reckons

Happy Sunday all!!
Last night's Eurovision results were somewhat surprising. But hey...
(Haha, only noticed afterwards, that now the helmet looks as it it is incandescend. Now there's an invention!!)
*Bunny, my poot takes longer to start up, than to power down, but sometimes I get that window to "force shut down" Skype, Photoshop are usually the culprits!
Again, Picasa just proved successful in finding last night's pic. As I didn't post last night.... The search option within Windows are totally pants.

Good evening all.
One lucky truck driver there Dixie
Is 2 minutes slow for shutdown for Windows 7? Other times it can be quicker though.
XP shut down instantly, I probably shouldn't compare OS's, lol.
I thought maybe Photoshop was the culprit until I hadn't opened it one day & same thing happened.
The wonders of technology!
I never get the force closedown option.

If you close all open programs and leave the computer for few minutes, Win 7 shuts down in 15 seconds or less.
If you want to shut down very quickly, you might get a message saying a background program needs to close. There's an icon in the bottom right corner to force a shutdown.
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.
