Ah and breathe.
Hope you are all taking extra care and staying safe and well.

Yikes someone is well organised well done 🙂
I do not even think about Christmas until after my sons birthday which was a few days ago.
One thing i have noticed around by where i live....lots are now putting up their Christmas trees and lighting up the outside of their homes. I guess they are wanting a feel good factor.

That is likely the reason Shirl as some have them up here as well. I need to be pretty organised as some go abroad and then closer to home in different parts of the UK but also hoping I can deliver some in the North East if we are released to let us see the recipients.

You know what i think? I think in England they will extend our lockdown until a week or so before Christmas and then early new year put us back into it.
Now i have a song in my head......Please release me let me go lol

Just imagine what the uproar up here would be like if nippy knickers waited until December to put us into lockdown to cover Christmas and New Year !
Our council area is in the same tier as Glasgow with nowhere near the amount of cases it has but she has to make it look good so she does not upset her voter core in Glasgow.

Its certainly going to be different this year and usually i do like trying to go into stores to choose pressies.
This year it will be.....go online and see what you like and tell me so i can order it and have it sent direct to you.
Not as much fun but hey i guess its just the way it has to be.
Ha ha at "Nippy knickers" 🙂

People living alone, particularly the elderly. Whereas usually they will go somewhere for their Christmas dinner, albeit family or an organised meal, will probably be alone on Christmas day. And then you have the younger lonely and vulnerable who normally would be helped by organisations like the Salvation Army, who may be alone this year. I genuinely worry about these folk.
The little church near me has a massive toy appeal every year and they are given out to needy families locally. It's very well attended, and they get loads from generous local people to make life a bit easier for local folk, but they' can't do it this year. How sad.

I'm looking forward to a nice quiet Christmas - just the wife and I.
last year there were 15 at our place, 12 the year before and similar numbers prior to that. Was threatening to go away for Christmas but no need now 🙂

Looks like I'm getting my wish - we're in tier 4 so just the wife and I for Christmas Day

creeky, hope you enjoy the peace and quiet for a change this year. We have had that for many years now, just my wife, myself and our wee dog because no one ever visits us at any time through the year.
We are in Scotland so not going into tier 4 until Boxing Day but the way things are just now we may as well call it tier 4 as of now.
