Cars and air pollution.

Before the current VW scandal surfaced there were concerns being raised about the effect of Diesel engines on Air quality. Looking back a few years the main culprits were commercial vehicles, most of us will remember the belches of blue/black fumes from exhausts. Clearly some progress has been made yet the compensation lawyers are hovering in expectation of the next great commercial give away. So who is right, who is to blame and will you give up your car to reduce the impact on the environment?

Cars and air pollution.

Maybe not over geological time, but do you feel no responsibility towards doing what we can to slow destruction for example of fragile ecosystems like coral reefs, and to slow the extinction of species?  These problems will shorten human existence too.

If we don't care about the environment that we leave to future generations, why bother to have children?

All that we are is what we have thought.

All very good but we need to aim our efforts at the things we can affect rather than spurious notions of manipulating the climate. Recycling is good for recycling's sake; less waste, lower energy costs, lower pollution etc. There's loads of good reasons that could be promoted to encourage people to be more environmentally responsible; why do we end up being fed rubbish about being able to control the climate and save the planet?!!!

Keep it real!!!
