Your son could go onto his Facebook page if he has one, and ask if anyone can spare some. If he's an NHS worker I'm sure that he'll get lots of offers.

If you can find some Listerine, Dettol or anti-bacterial mouthwash, it would give some antiseptic hand protection.
I am surprised we haven't seen any mention of nasal antiseptic protection. The virus generally enters the body through the nose - an antiseptic spray or cream in the nose would offer some protection. I did see a mention somewhere about salt water being a nasal antiseptic. Presumably that would also work as a hand sanitizer.

For nowadays it's not so necessary for them, because they have plenty of those sanitizers in hospitals. From what I've seen and asked - they don't have enough of comfortable clothes and shoes. That is why, when my good friend, who works at nursing sphere as well, asked me about shoes for her, I've looked here at details from an article, which is all about Alegria nursing shoes. After some fitting process, for now, she says that it's the best nursing shoes she has tried for years.
