Hi all
I had a thingy about the up sides of being a business seller. Clearly there is money in it for ebay or they wouldn't be making it look so cosy.
Now,I sell a bit. I am generally selling something or a few things, not hundreds.... do you think it's a good idea to be a business seller as opposed to a 'sort of ' seller.?
What are the ups? In a nutshell? I read the blurb and it ll seems like you just pay more. Maybe I read it wrong but I would love people's opinions.
Quite fancy one of those hold your own freestanding chip n pin things though!
Any thoughts, my dears?
BTW I am Bill as in Blinda as in Bellinda. My partner is Ben. So you will talking to a female of the species !

Technically if you buy or make to sell then you are a business seller
Morally, well...

If you buy or make items to sell, you are a business seller.
If you are only selling your own personal no longer wanted items, you are a private seller.
It is that simple.

If You are a business seller , your customers have greater rights , namely the right of return under the Distance selling regulations
When I see "private " sellers with thousands of feedback , and hundreds of things on ebay , I tend to think of them as underhand and shifty .
Likewise when I see sellers asking for cash on collection , I think , "tax evaders "
And any "private " listing , is either stolen goods , or some tax evader trying to hide beneath the radar , like a modern day rattle snake
