Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

Pleased the mule enjoyed his bucket of water. NOT so pleased though that he later gave it back to us all over the lounge carpet! :_|  :^O

Oh yes, that was a good idea of yours (not) suggesting the goat would make a nice curry. I just did that and had my back turned when he showed his disapproval! 😮 :_|

As for the mule having a Niagara Falls moment little mishap, well it was Christmas so we forgive the little @@@@. him. The carpet was due for cleaning anyway.  😄

2nd Jan already.  Don't the days fly.  We actually have a bit of blue sky here today (first for ages), so I may venture out and about.

I think I am safe with Harry now. She has gorn soft  ~ she had a pink dressing gown for Christmas :^O

The  days are flying, aren't they? But it's like a Spring day down here again. Blue skies and very mild for January!

I have been to the Sales, which is most unlike me.  Got a digital TV ... and in the nick of time, cos the old signal is being switched off here in Feb.  Mind, I've not taken it out of the box yet.  Need to gather my strength before doing battle with the instructions that will, doubtless, be incomprehensible.

She did ask for more bullets, but Santa thought she said 'pullets'. She now has loads of the clucking things 😮 :^O

Good luck with the instructions for the TV. Hope they're better than the ones I had with mine. Only found out a couple of days ago that it switches itself orf if it's been on for two hours! 😮 A  'three-minute warning' came up on the screen.

By the time I'd worked out why it was there and eventually read it, the telly had switched itself orf! :_| Apparently it's an 'energy-saving' device ~ sends the TV into 'sleep mode'. Sent me into a rage! :^O
