Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

Leave me your requirements for breakfasts in future and I'll see what I can rustle up.  Will have to be a cold affair - well it will be by the time you get it - so I don't recommend fried eggs :_|

I'll have to leave it up high on the shelf with the glasses, otherwise that mule of harry's will snaffle it if she's too piffed to remember to take him home or tie him up securely.  Don't tell anyone, but that happens often 😮

I'll have to have words with bill (for I'm sure it is not charlie) -  he keeps ordering this tastless mushy bland bread 😮

Poor man - his little brain cells drop by a metre every time he sees the young sales tart rep.

I'd heard Bimbo was an acquired taste - obviously Bill acquired it!! :^O

And yes I love homemade bread, make my own every now and again and a lovely red onion, basil and sea salt foccacia 😄

I bought a stonebaked kalamata olive bloomer recently from Sainsbury's which I thought was very tasty ...until I broke a tooth on an olive stone they had left in it X-(

Feel like writing them a letter to tell them to be more careful .. how was I supposed to know that stonebaked in this food context meant baked with stones? 😮
