Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

Getting what snipe, I do not understand this, a snipe at you, no not at all.

Charlie that is much better looking marshmallows, i am trying ti bid on an item, but for some reason the description will not come up and it ends in 30 secs.

Sorry, Lin...I assumed you knew about sniping on the boards.:^O

"Sniping" on the RT means if you manage to post on a significant number ~ like 100, 200 and so on. A lot of posters compete with each other to do so...not always easy 🙂

If you look back, you put a post on at 1500 ~ that's a snipe! ~ so well done!:-x

No I didn't bid, as the description was not up for me to check it out, my Lad is getting in to his stars well and truely now, and wanted to bid on one of the fighters.

But still, there will be more on here.

Tried to collect from the Newspapers, but our only shop was WH Smith to collect from and they were running out within half an hour of opening, have had to send his coupon off and hope we get one. The I see loads of them for sale on here, not right that isn't.X-(

Not sure if Charlie going round the bar with a big old hatchet knife, dicing marshmallows is a good idea Bill... do you...really......?:^O

Perhaps not, Caution, especially bearing in mind what she does with that wooden spoon she carries with her ~ stirs up trouble for me non-stop with that she does :^O
