I have tried to log on on to my account on my phone but ebay do not send me a text code number to allow me to continue signing in, what am I doing wrong?

I have tried all those things, I get messages from ebay on the phone, I got yours with no trouble but why it will not send this code is beyond me ( but things do get beyond me more easily these days)

Thank you for the reply.
It can be difficult to know why the code is not coming through if all details are correct. Sometimes there can be issues with network signals that can cause delays.
If you are able to log into your account on the laptop can you contact customer support through the link here and have them review your account to ensure the phone number is set up correctly.

Yes I have no trouble with logging in on my laptop, I even tried putting my wife's phone no. in to get to get the code no. telling ebay that I had changed phones and sure enough it sent the code to her phone no problem ( same make and model as mine) so it appears that it must have something to do with my phone, I will do as you suggest and contact ebay and see if they can help. Thankyou for your efforts

I have just spoken to an agent on my phone so my phone no. is correct, he tried to send me a text but I got nothing so he suggested that I contact Tesco mobile so see if it is blocked for some reason, my wife texted me last night and it came through with no problem but of course we are on the same network
