samsung galaxy s23 ultra now default to google pictures for ebay

Since ive had the phone Ive always used Samsungs gallery option to upload my items to ebay as it was just easier, for the past month now ive only been able to access Google photos there is no option like before where i can choose. 

Is anyone else having the same issues, is there a fault with the app? (i have uninstalled and reinstalled still no change) ive tested it on my parthers S25 ultra too and that also defaults to google photos too.

any help would be appreicated.

Phone manufacturers are always finding ways to improve security for their users, this one here sounds like you haven't enabled access to your gallery for the eBay app, which is why you wouldn't be able to see the photos of your gallery (These days we need to authorize access to microphones, camera, gallery, etc in our phones for multiple different apps). I would recommend checking your device's privacy settings and make sure you've allowed the eBay app access to your photos, so you can upload them directly. If this is not enabled, the only way to fix it is by enabling it.

If you don't know how to enable access to your photos or anything else for the eBay app, or any other app, I would recommend googling it, so you can see how to do it step by step.
