eBay Customer Support Not Working

Hi,

I have been trying to contact eBay customer support for a while now. Whenever I last spoke to them on the chat function, I informed them that I was getting an error message when asking for a callback, which they said they knew about and logged mine as another person having this problem. Now, I don't even have the chat option available! So I have no way to speak to eBay customer support about any issues! Is anyone having the same problem? Can anyone help so I can speak to someone? I have tried multiple devices, tried clearing cookies but still get the same problem!

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Have you been successful in contacting CS?

I tried that link and it does reach CS,  if you try at 8 a.m. today you'll get a ' live agent'  not chat bot and hopefully Dublin will answer.

Use a laptop / PC and Chrome preferably over the temperamental app and mobile browser that may help, too.

I've tried this again at 8am and got the same error. There is only an option for a callback, not a chat option!

That is correct that is a Call Back option on that link,   is there an issue with having a call back?  Dublin should be answering now and they are far more efficient with issues then trying a chat bot later in the day.

No there is no issue with a callback error, I would prefer to speak to someone rather than on chat but it isn't working. I have tried all the ways you have asked me to try and I keep getting the same error message whenever I try. Is this a known problem?

No, no one else has reported this , which does show,  the issue has to be at your end.

I've just clicked on that link and the Call Back  shows up no problem, and it's currently a 7 minute wait:

The above shows,  but it's spaced differently in big blue ' boxes.'

 

I'm using a laptop and Chrome.  Can you use that combination and try that way ?  Clear cache and cookies too.
