The workaround I found for this , deleted app reinstall , login with a new account creation then logout and login with your main account

I am unable to create a new account. I also tried giving feedback but it seems the app can't access the Internet. Same issue on cellular data.

Yeah doesn't work for me either. 

I went back to APK 6.168.0.1 from Apk Mirror. Seems to let me login for now... Since ebay aren't even acknowledging or trying to fix the problem.

Now have it working... Deleted app, switched phone off, left 5mins, turned on and re-downloaded the app from play store. Seems to be working fine now.

Just checked on Play Store under Manage Installed apps and I could update ebay. Updated and I can now login successfully.

Yup. Just updated to 6.174.0.1 and it's working

Updating directly did not work. I installed APK version 6.168.0.1 AND THEN tried updating to the latest from the app store.

Still not working.

Looks like 6.168.0.1 is the only version that works.

Do you get the "technical difficulties, please try again later" error when checking the payments section?

The payment section works the first few times, but then brings up that error and can't access.

Screenshots do not work because the eBay app does not allow for this to happen. 

Uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache - seems to me there is an issue within the app coding

Same Issue. Tried clearing cookies and cache. Reinstalled the app. 

Have a samsung galaxy s24 ultra.

As mentioned by someone else I fixed this by downgrading the application to v 6.161.0.1 using aptoid and disabling auto update in play store. I know eBay will say this isn't recommended as not an official source and downgrading could undo security fixes or updates, but until they fix their app this is only fix I have found.

Same here on a factory reset Oneplus 12. Latest Ebay app from Play Store. Uninstalled. reinstalled, rebooted, cleared data/cache etc. Also tried through a VPN so it doesn't seem to be network related either. Just Android version.

As with a couple of other people I uninstalled v6.176.0.1 and installed v6.168.0.1 which works fine. Ebay need to update their app to fix this.
