Please note that this is a public forum, so you're not directly talking to eBay. However, there are scenarios where we might ask you to reset your password, please note that if the message to reset your password is in your eBay inbox as well, it is legit, and you can reset the password that way.

If the message is not in your eBay inbox, and you think the email you got externally is not legit, please do not click on any links in that message, and simply go to our help pages and do it from there directly. Alternatively, one of our mentors left a couple of link in this thread that you can use to reset your password. 👍
