Visibility on eBay sites abroad

I’ve noticed that none of my items are visible on the French eBay site (ebay.fr), and on the German site ebay.de they don’t appear in main search results but are placed at the bottom under ‘Related items’.  Both sites seem to discriminate / filter out items that aren’t being sold in other EU countries (as yet, I haven’t searched on other foreign ebay sites, but I suspect it’s the same story…)

Couple of questions:

1.  Have I missed a setting on my account which would rectify this?

2.  Has this changed recently, as previously I’ve had no trouble selling to customers in the EU.

3.  If I pay for promoted listings, will my items get properly shown on the French and German sites? If not, then I am getting a poor return for my ad spend, particularly if my items have a country specific relevance e.g. a painting by a French artist…

4. Is this some new edict from the EU relating to GDPR or some such…

5.  Is this type of discrimination even legal in international law?

Do you have a German LUCID number or the UIN codes for France?

If not then I suggest that you search for Extended Producer Responsibility in Ebay help. There are separate pages for Germany & France.
