An upload can fail for a number of different reasons but you can download a results report which should tell you what the issue is from the Reports tab of Seller Hub.
In the uploads section you should see the failed file and under action you will have the option to download the results.

The file will then have a brief description of the error and error code. You can search online for the error code and you will usually find a solution for the error.
