Unwanted eBay Auto-Translate

Does eBay auto translate title listings? I’m seeing a book “Omaggio a Sextus Propertius” listed occasionally as “Homage to Sixth Property” which is just lol. Incorrect, invasive, etc. Can we toggle this off?

If you are searching and finding your keywords are being corrected or translated, or your keywords are being matched to a translated word, you should be able to avoid that by putting one of your search keywords in quotes to prevent any substitutions or corrections.

Not sure if sellers have any similar options when listing to prevent titles from being translated automatically, though.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, not to do with search queries, but just listing titles while browsing. Appreciate the tip though.

I feel it should be a user setting rather than a listing property. Some people deal in multiple languages and automatic translating is not a great ux.
