Sign in on cubot x20

Hi I can sign in to ebay okay on my samsung tablet but when I try to sign in on my cubot x20 smartphone it say does not support this app anymore need to update but I have the latest version of the app running on android 9

Our eBay Community Manager Kat, informs  us that the latest eBay app version is no longer compatible with android 9 and below. It actually requires OS android 10 and above. If you have another device with android 10 and above you can check the most recently updated eBay app version and see if you can view images.

If you are using OS android 10 and above and still have issues with viewing images on the app please let me know. State what version you use and type of device and I'll have it looked into further by tech.

So I need a new phone to get the app?? There's nothing wrong with my phone and I won't be buying a new one just to get the ebay app.

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".
