Saved Sellers: "Note to self" has gone!

When I buy something, and might use the seller in the future, I put them in my Saved Sellers and then use the  Note to Self feature to describe what I bought. I've noticed problems over the last weeks with actually typing into the NtS box, where you couldn't see what you typed unless you highlighted by dragging the cursor.

Now, all my notes have disappeared!

I still have my list of sellers, but all the notes to self have gone!

Anyone else had this?

Saved Sellers: "Note to self" has gone!

I don't know if it'll be permanent but suddenly I'm able to add notes to my saved sellers like we used to do. The old notes are probably gone for ever, but the new ones I've just added have remained there, for now at least. Will post again if this situation changes.

Saved Sellers: "Note to self" has gone!

All my Notes have also reappeared !

Because I am not confident that they won't vanish again, this is what I did-

I'm using a PC - it might be different for the App or IOS

Go to your saved sellers web page

Right click a blank area ->  Save As

In the dialogue box, confirm "Save as type" as "Web Page, Complete"

Save this to Documents or Pictures, the file size was 3.64mb for me

When you open this in your browser as a local file, all the links are still clickable and will take you to the sellers page.

Hopefully the issue will be resolved for everyone.

Thank you @richardgrayuk  for actually raising this directly with support

Thank you for the mention, ab4776.

I would like to suggest to everybody to either take screenshots of their Saved Sellers with the notes added or make of note of their Saved Sellers and accompanying notes in a .txt file.

Therefore, if something like this happens again, you will all be immune from the stress and aggravation that goes with having to chase eBay around to get this resolved - all with their empty promises of getting back to you within 48 hours and then not delivering on that promise!

Richard
