Anyone else experiencing this? There have been no Royal Mail tracking updates on eBay for anything dispatched on October 6th and 7th. The tracking works fine on the Royal Mail website, but on eBay it looks like it hasn't even been sent yet and still says to "Post by Mon 6 Oct".

Royal Mail only update once in the evening, so not seeing the 7th yet doesn't surprise me. That said, you are not the only Seller experiencing delays. This has been a common complaint, especially in the last week or two.

Still no updates at all this morning for any parcel sent from October 6th onwards! All tracking information shows perfectly on the Royal Mail website.
This is an ongoing issue that seems to be affecting multiple users, please can you look into this? Thank you.

kat@ebay I think there is a slightly bigger issue going on as whilst the 24/48 tracking issue has started over the last few days for some sellers (oddly not all) the 2d tracking (scan on delivery) has not been working for 2-3 weeks (e.g order numbers 07-13563-85600 , 01-13648-05697, 12-13515-92306 )
i've practically given up with the 2d tracking as none of these update on ebay anymore (but do on royal mail) my only saving grace was that the tracked 24/48 services tracking was working fine but that has now stopped also sadly. (over 48 hours and no update on those so far)

Yes having the same issue still. Seems anything from 6th onwards. Hopefully a fix is been sorted and everything will update.

It has now been 3 days, and any parcel sent from October 6th onwards has no tracking updates from eBay - not even to say that the parcels have been sent. Most of these parcels have even been delivered now, but eBay is showing zero tracking information for this.
This seems to be affecting quite a few users, and seems to be a bigger issue than a simple delay of transferring data from Royal Mail. Either there is a technical glitch on eBay's side, or the link between eBay and Royal Mail has been seriously broken.
As stephenjames_1234588 has pointed out, this seems to be affecting all tracking information with Royal Mail Tracked 24 / 48 and 2D tracking information for 1st / 2nd class mail.
Buyers will not be receiving any tacking information on their end (some of which may have even paid extra for tracking, and understandably would be very annoyed). This will lead to an increase in item not received requests, at no fault of our own.
Hopefully this can be sorted out as soon as possible. I assume in the meantime that we will be protected from any defects related to parcels not being sent on time? (When as a matter of fact they have been).

Hi Kat,
I have exactly the same issue, all it shows is that a tracking number has been uploaded but no other information yet on Royal Mail themselves it is working perfectly, not a good Ebay customer experience. It was working perfectly so something at ebay has broken.
Can someone please look in to this urgently please.

I've got the same problem. No updates on orders I have dispatched with Royal Mail since the 6th Oct. I'm a business seller and I've sent all my parcels as tracked 48 hours with them being collected from my doorstep.
I have, however, noticed that I've brought 2 items from private sellers who have shipped using royal mail tracked 48hr and dispatched their items on the 6th/7th and the tracking works fine for me as the buyer.
So I'm not sure if its because I'm a business seller when they're private, I've had my parcels collected where they dropped theirs off, or its just not updating properly on our sellers hub but the buyers can see the tracking all fine, but one of these things is causing a problem.
I also hope that this isn't leading to any negative affects on my store as I've had 6 days in a row of 10+ sales then suddenly yesterday it tanked and I made 1 sale all day.

To have a guess, if it is working for private sellers then they are likely using eBay's simple delivery. It's possibly working for this, but not for business sellers who will have their own postage arrangements with Royal Mail.
I can confirm from my end, that I have recently purchased some bubble wrap from a business seller who posted by Royal Mail. There have been zero tracking updates on this at all (but the tracking is working on the Royal Mail website) - so there is definitely an impact on what the buyer can see on their end as well.

Same issue, items delivered but ebay tracking not updating. Delivered items not showing up as delivered at all this week. Parcels have all tracked fine on Royal Mail, this is impacting international deliveries too.

Hi, I've got the same issue, Tracking info not updating on ebay - last week i had the issue of the tracking numbers not uploading automatically, that resolved it self and no no tracking info is updating but tracking number importing from RM. It's clearly show delivered on RM site. I expect we will be having to deal with unnecessary queries regarding an update on delivery from buyers (especially those who wont/dont check on RM site)

I have had this issue for going on 3 months now. eBay CS & IT are aware of it. Whether or not anything gets done, well thats another thing

This of course has implications for some sellers who don't get payouts until an item is confirmed delivered.

Same here, no tracking updates since the 6th, orders delivered and not showing as delivered on eBay, tracking showing perfectly on Royal Mail.

Could we please have some clarification that eBay are at least aware of this issue? We are all in the dark at the moment, and are naturally worried about receiving defects / increased "item not received" cases on our accounts through no fault of our own.
