Anyone else experiencing this? There have been no Royal Mail tracking updates on eBay for anything dispatched on October 6th and 7th. The tracking works fine on the Royal Mail website, but on eBay it looks like it hasn't even been sent yet and still says to "Post by Mon 6 Oct".

Hi kat, any update on this. Even recorded delivery ones aren’t updating. Only one which did update was an ECP collection point thank you

It took a long while (about an hour) but I've managed to get eBay CS to log a support ticket regarding this wider issue of RM tracking not updating.
The ticket reference is: EWATCHOP-289169
Interestingly, even though the buyers left positive feedback for the transaction, it was still not showing as dispatched on the orders. Something's not right.

Just out of curiousity, how is everyone handling this for getting funds released? I am getting on chat with a list of order numbers and tracking numbers for the day and getting the CS person to mark them all as delivered but this is a chore every time when they only want to deal with one (I average about 12 deliveries a day) and when each time their canned response is "Ensure you use an eBay approved shipper, there is no problem with the tracking".
Dealing with CS Chat just seeems like an up hill struggle every day.

Is this only for parcels that you sent today? I still don't have any updates for any of the parcels I have sent over the past week.
Great to hear that progress is now being made with this, however.

Only one parcel from last week. I don't know if this means tracking is working its way through the system or if this was manually pushed through - hopefully Kat can come back to us with some details.

So when will ebay have an update on this? Still not updating when royal mail scan the parcels ebay proper getting on my nerves these days, and absolute useless at sorting problems out

This is now 4 days with no updates on Ebay status - i also reported via chat, but still not resolved. This has happened in the past surely IT must know the remedy by now. Waiting for an influx of false INRs by buyers using status to make claims.

I don't know if we have a way to communicate with the "tech team" about this, but there were a few updates yesterday evening. As of this morning, I now have 22 packages that the Royal Mail said were delivered during the day yesterday, but there have been no updates.
Customer support is going to love that call. 🙂

Has anyone noticed any scans or positive signs yet? We haven’t seen any.
i tested using only the eBay virtual tracking number (code that you enter within the address label) earlier this week and funnily the tracking number got synced over from royal mail without me inputting it so there is some type of connection with royal mail but no tracking updates came through.

AS THIS SEEMS TO BE A MAJOR ISSUE AFFECTING MANY SELLERS WHY CANT EBAY POST A NOTIFICATION ON SELLER CENTRAL ANNOUNCEMONTS SECTION - EVEN IF ITS JUST TO SAY ITS A KNOWN PROBLEM BEING INVESTIGATED AND POSSIBLE TIMEFRAMES ETC.
SEEMS EBAY LIKE TO COVER UP TECHNICAL ISSUES RATHER THAN BE TRANSPARENT, BUT SURELY THIS WOULD SAVE THE MANY CALLS CUSTOMER SERVICES MUST BE GETTING.

I am on with customer support right now and within 4 lines they said "Everything is working as expected" and then "Let me assure you that eBay is aware of the issue and our technical team is already working on it to fix it." They can't seem to get it the story straight in a single chat session.

Exactly my point I just made that Ebay should be putting a message on Selling announcements Section on seller central, so everyone knows - sounds like from your comment that even their own staff don't know when major issues exist.
The more sellers that report call/chat with Customer Services that something maybe done.

I have begun sending my buyers a note about this, encouraging them to check the Royal Mail website and to contact eBay customer support to log the issue. I'm not sure if it'll help, but it is more voices.

Ive just seen i have the same problem as well, over the last 2 weeks of tracked orders sent none shown as delivered on Ebay, all shown as delivered on Royal Mail. Another site i sell on doesnt have this problem 😁
