Notification language problem

Hi, 

Ever since changing phones, certain eBay notifications appear in a different language.

I've checked settings in my account, it's set to English, I've tried reinstalling the app, nothing has fixed it. 

Any help please?

I just got a new Samsung s25 plus and now my selling notifications are all in French. There is clearly some kind of incompatibility between the eBay app and the phone. My s23 plus and a33 are fine

Same to me, I just changed to my S25 Ultra and now I get all my messages in japanese. Just to mention I have that language installed in my phone, but not as my primary.

Hi Kat, can you please re-engage your tech team? One or two users, yes it could be user error. I think we've now had 7 users with new phones (of different brands) reporting this same issue. Certainly looks like an Ebay App bug.

I found the issue... I think. Main language in my phone is Spanish, the I installed English and Japanese. After that I started receiving all notifications in Japanese. 

Software says if the app doesn't allow your language will use the next on the list, I use "Spanish (Costa Rica)" and "English(US), maybe your app just use the last package installed.

I haven't installed or uninstalled any languages. And I certainly don't have anything to do with French which is what my notifications were appearing in. However without doing anything the notifications seem to have returned to English or by themselvesSent from my Galaxy

I believe it increases the chances of getting her attention if you include kat@ebay 

You do it by typing an at-symbol and then looking at the drop down to select the person.

Actually I'm having the same problem, I have my eBay app installed in several phones the notifications in the past 2/3 days are coming in French in all of them . Although I don't even speak french and all my phones are in English excepto on that is in Portuguese. So this definitely a eBay app problem , only because you don't have many people reporting doesn't mean you don't have a problem. Often just means most people don't bother
