Enjoy the Classic View whilst you can , the Design team who probably got paid a lot of pennies for creating the botch up, will remove the wind back option once it gets too popular for users.

I'm an old Foge, & I Really need a Separate Sent & Received Msg system.  & I don't know that I'll be able to find my way back to the Old one, even with Instructions.  I just read on Ebay spazbot that they've changed the messaging to make things Simpler!!,, But now I just can't SIMPLY check up on my Messages.  I must be a

Dinosaur,, think they want to Phase Me Out!.

I've found this "new" system an utter joke as well.  I can't find that switch back to classic thing either so I'm stuffed.  I click in to the message and  then can't read the message.  In the last few weeks they've managed to make it worse!!!  It took them  over a month to fix that "we don't combine postage" idiocy so Lord knows how long they'll take to consider fixing this joke.

It's like their H.Q staff are allowing their own 4-year old kids to design their layouts in Crayons !!

Think they've removed that option to switch back to classic view,  this new format seems to be here to stay.

Botom right now is the link '  Update messaging feedback'  click on that,  leave a one star rating,  and add your views of this change to the feedback box.

Many unhappy members seeing this change,  you are certainly not alone.

Yep,  that is correct it has been removed, and it's this  new format for a messaging system  now for all.

As above, I'm sorry but the classic version cannot be reached now,  the new format is here to stay.

You're not alone,  many dislike this change,  all you can  do is use the link bottom right  of the message page, to leave one star and leave your thoughts about the change in the feedback box.

What is the basis to merit an awful 'dimprovement' merits a 'one star' status, zero or minus would suit better.

Is there any verification that messages actually get to the person they are designed to reach?

Trust in ebay is not very high of course.

The number of times i ask for / Request invoices through various tabs and have no reaction from sellers is amazing.

I do get oodles of messages from ebay dictating 'Pay Now Or Else' whilst ive requested invoices, maybe those inane messages take priority?

Who knows.  It's there , optional of course to use or not. 

I've left some,  with no illusion it will be read or acted on, but it did make me feel a little better! 🤗

I also dislike what ebay has done, but the fact they are asking for feedback suggests there is at least the possibility they could take notice of it. So there is some hope, providing people give their comments in that way as well as on this forum.

Those sections where ebay ask opinions / feedback have been ignored by ebay for years.

Now maybe if they asked what was required / desired by users , or even view the boards for users problems, BEFORE embarking on their usual improvement fiasco which ensues could be interesting, however, pigs may fly first.
