Main image not showing

Is this still not solved??? I have a listing with many variations and a search on it only shows the variation photo which is less eye catching than the main photo. I've read from some that you need to report this to ebay and they can resolve this through your account? Others said it resolved itself, although mine has been this for ages.

What is the solution?

All our listings but in particular our PS5 modded controllers, there are 4 of them

We have many variants on them but it always seems to show a variant in the searches

I've just got a final update on this, and I've been confirmed that this is working as designed. This is due to that when you perform a search, the results pick a winning variant from your listing with variation, and displays the photo of that variant.

I've just had a look at my Saved sellers page, and every single one is showing those greyed blank photos others have been seeing.

I'm on a laptop using Chrome.

That is not what was reported in this thread, the users above can see the image ok, they are just not seeing the cover photo that they selected for their listing.

If you are seeing greyed blank photo, then it should be a different issue.

Aaah  OK marco@ebay   but there is another issue members are not seeing their profile picture,  I don't have one but checking my saved sellers, they're  all missing, I've jumped in on the wrong  ' picture issue.  '

Sorry this issue is not resolved. I am selling for example 14 different roses bushes and main picture should be shown with all 14 roses I have if somebody searching "rose bush". At results will get just one picture of  1 variant ...Horrible.I have a similair type auction with flower bulbs where everything working correct item: 391724267816.Why this happenning?

Wait what? Surely that can’t be correct. And  if it’s working as designed, it’s flawed! I mean why is there an option for “main image” when it’s never going to show it? Instead it’s shows the variant which is nothing but the item and colour, that’s not right surely. Can you please escalate again. Also you said that it shows the image with a winning variant, what’s that supposed to mean? My shows a colour that I have yet to sell if I search for my listing.

You can see it in the picture when I search my own auctions.Main picture for 14 roses is visible but if you looking for roses bushes (plant) you never can see main picture as the results! In the picture you can see other auction for 40 garden bulbs (very similair) and there you can see main picture when you searching garden bulbs...This is a very big  issue that occurs in many Ebay auctions.Why this happening on one auction and not happenning for other auction?What sense is making multi-variation auction if main picture (the most attractive photo giving a wide choice to buyers) is not visible? Please escalate again and resolve this problem.
