Still can't cancel YA labels. Can't print a new label. So can't post items. Will have to pay for labels again at the post office & I can't afford to do this. Please sort this out eBay.!

It's not eBay's problem it's a Royal Mail issue,  go to their website and see their announcement.  It's affecting other items too,  not just eBay Simple Delivery parcels.

This has been Royal Mail issue over the past few days affecting many,  you are not alone.

Some were reporting  this to CS,  and being told they would be sent a new label!    Hmmm!   Personally,  with the seemingly hundreds/ thousands of cases which would need to be dealt with,  I wouldn't solely rely on this to happen.

Another member has reported CS telling them it's a Royal Mail issue, which will be solved in 24 hours!!  This too hasn't happened.

Seems for the time being, the answer is to either buy your own postage label through Royal Mail / Post Office,  and manually enter the new tracking details.  Or, try again later for an SD label.

Then, for the unused label:

  • If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

  • If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.

As @style_wise  has correctly informed the issue has now been solved.

If you need to buy another label look at my answer whether you or the buyer receives a refund for any unused labels.  Depends who pays,   as to who receives that refund.
