Gallery view missing after recent update

Since a recent Android app update, I can no longer view search results in Gallery view. Options available are List view and Single item view. Any ideas? In List view, four grey images appear across the screen as if it is trying to display in Gallery mode, then they quickly vanish to show the List view results.

Using Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 in landscape mode. I have two identical tablets. One has an older version of eBay that allows Gallery view, the other has the updated version, that doesn't.

Hi markhfd, thanks for your post.

This can be changed by going into your filter menu, once you're there, scroll down until you see the "view" option, so you can select the one of your preference like list view, single item per screen or gallery view.

I can see that you don't have it there in the screenshot in question. However, I've just tried from my own device, and I can see it there. Could you please try deleting the app, and install it again to see if that fixes it for you?

Hi markhfd, thanks for your patience on this.

I've been confirmed that they haven't been able to replicate the issue in question, so they suspect it might a device related issue. However, I've asked them to double check again and they said they would test for another couple of day to see if they can replicate the issue. If they are unable to confirm again this issue, then it might be device related.

Any body else having the same issue. Maybe everyone uses a phone in portrait mode, so they wouldn't notice?

I'm struggling with the same thing. Galaxy tab A no pics when I click onto a listing

Same issue for me. Was fine until an update a few days ago.

I need access to my albums - send many images daily to help customers.

Yes I'm having same issue o have Samsung note 20 ultra

Looks like it's an issue that eBay need to look into again. A number of recent updates haven't solved it.

I found the solution!!

I thought it was the ebay app, but realised the same thing was happening on Etsy...... only 3 albums visible.

Click the 3 dots, go in to "browse"

Scroll across and you'll see gallery - and all your albums.

I'm on Samsung too, so must be a Samsung update that to blame

Unfortunately, this is not the solution to my original issue. It's not to do with albums. This is is how eBay display search results. There is NO option visible to display search results in Gallery View i.e thumbnail images displayed in columns across the page, only List View, one item on the left hand side of the screen and title to the right of the image.
