Ebay unable to support this bank (Virgin Money)

I recently opened a new business current account with Virgin money but received an error when trying to link it to my ebay account. The error says that ebay does not support this bank but I have used another account with the same bank on ebay for 14 years. Virgin customer service says they have no issues with Ebay and Ebay customer service have been unable to explain this to me, I am currently waiting on a response to my last query but this is unfortunetly putting things on hold for me right now.

Has anyone had a similar experience, particuarlly with a Virgin Money account and if so what was the outcome?

Thanks for your help. I'll do that. This is such a simple issue if Amazon can sort it, so should Ebay.

I had exactly the same problem, followed everyone's advice and tried numerous eBay assistants but nothing worked.

I then noticed the service was provided by "Trustly", so I reached out to them two weeks' ago, today I have received a reply saying that Virgin Money Business Bank with sort code (82-19-74) has been added to the supported bank list, you still need to manually enter it but it worked first time.

Hopefully all Virgin Money Business Bank users can now update theirs, without transferring money through a third bank anymore.

I cannot believe NO ONE at eBay had the care to contact the third party service provider to address this known issue, it only took me an email and a screenshot to get it rectified. 

Wasn't that hard, was it!

That's amazing, thank you so much. I spoke to many Ebay assistants and they
hadn't a clue how to deal with this problem. They seemed to be intelligent people but obviously weren't properly trained. They simply advised me to close my Ebay account or change banks.

I just had the same issue for my Virgin Money personal account, sort code: 82-19-75.

Ebay customer services have said they will come back to me.

In the meanwhile I have pinged Trustly.

Our business account 82:19:73 is now accepted by Ebay and working for incoming payments.

OK good news, Trustly have added the sort code 82-19-75

Weird that individuals need to request and that ebay themselves are no help - but - at least means I can add my bank account now (fairly crucial to the ebay experience!)

Do you have them linked to other eBay accounts as you can only have 2 eBay accounts with the same bank details
