Is anyone else having problems with Ebay's recently implemented "Buyer protection fees" & "Simple delivery" systems when listing items? Every time i list something i now take into account the BPF to ensure my item's still competitively priced. Say for example i want to list something for £10 but because of an extra fee of £1.04 i know it'll show as £11.04 to prospective buyers. To counteract this i deduct £1.04 from my price so in reality i'm only asking £8.96.
Trouble can arise when i do this and, for whatever reason, Ebay decides to increase the original BPF stated and it's now more than £1.04. This leads to be having to embark on a time-consuming tweaking of my price until it finally settles on what i want. I find it extremely frustrating & Ebay aren't doing themselves any favours with this set-up as it now takes longer to list items than it used to.
The same goes with setting the delivery options. Sometimes the service i've confirmed that i want to use doesn't register properly either.
