Ebay messaging not working

I have sold two items to two differen tpeople. However i can't send them messages at all. This has never happened before. Either on my iphone or desktop it just says "oops" or "something went wrong". 

As these items are collection only it is causing a problem. I cant seem to find a way to rasie this with Ebay directly either.

I’ve sold a collection only item a couple of days ago sent a message to the buyer with thanks and when they want collect etc, no reply. Now I think what if they’re trying to contact me and bashing their head against the wall. Do they even receive my messages?

Ebay clearly know about this serious & intensely annoying problem & clearly don't give a hoot. I will not buy or sell anything else unless & until the problem is fixed. If it's not fixed very quickly I'm closing my account. I'm just waiting for one last item to be delivered by Parcelfarce, & they are taking an age, us usual. I'm getting Ebay nags to leave feedback for it before it's actually delivered... You couldn't make it up!

Can you tell me what happens when you try and contact the seller? Are you getting a error message or a block message? Can you share a screenshot to show your view without including any personal details

I wonder how many other Ebayers are in the same position? Thousands I'd bet. Ebay have known about the problem for ages & obviously couldn't care less.

Thanks John. Cost me 300 quid more than the auction I won, but at least it's new I suppose. I'm lucky, I only just had enough money in my account to get it. Hope you have a good one.
