Ebay can’t verify bank account

I have had this ebay account since 2002 and the same bank account for the last 15+ years but somehow it asks me to update my bank account details. I have done so but i receive a message that my bank account details can't be verified.

Hi Marco, I am having issues also with ebay not being able to verify my card. Is my account also affected by the ebay technical issue?

No technical issues have been spotted for the verification process at the moment. If the verification is not going through, it might be related to something else. What message are you getting? Are you trying to verify your bank account to receive payments, or are you trying to add your card for purchases?
