I'm writing about a bug in the eBay app IOS regarding sending photos in a private chat.
When I attempt to attach a photo to a buyer's message using the in app camera icon that take me to the photo library to add photo to the text box, the image does not appear in the intended chat after I tap send.
Instead, the image is being sent to a completely different buyer chat that isn't open on my app.
Steps
1. Go to a private messages with Buyer A
2. Tap the camera icon to add photo.
3. Add photo to text box and tap send.
4. I expect to see the photos appear in the chat thread with buyer A.
5. What actually happened was the photo does not appear in the chat with Buyer A, but instead is automatically sent to the message thread of Buyer B (which it decides randomly which buyer it wants to send it to in my private message history).
This is causing me embarrassment and confusion, as I have to contact other buyers to explain the app glitch and ask them to ignore the unintended photo.
I will uninstall the app and reinstall the app multiple times, and will also use the website on computer to try and avoid this happening again.
Not sure if this is worth investigate but I wanted to share my issue.
My app is sending photos to the wrong private messages!
