Last month it took me an hour to add one item to a listing because listing variations from years ago kept adding themselves back.
I now have to add three items to three listings and I'm actually kinda worried about how long it might take 😅
marco@ebay you replied to me about this issue before, please can you see what's going on, and if there's any kind of a workaround to delete them permanently so I don't have to keep doing every time?

Hi, was there any chance they were able to look at that listing to confirm the issue?

Hi bobsbrickstuff, thanks for your reply.
As advised before, once I get a proper update on this, I will let you know.
Thank you,
Marco

Hi bobsbrickstuff, thanks for your patience on this once again.
I've been informed that this malfunction might be related to a server issue, which is not your fault, so the team is currently checking that for you to try fix it, once they come back to me with more relevant information, I will let you know. Again, thanks for your patience and apologies for the delays on this.
Thank you,
Marco

Hi bobsbrickstuff, another quick update on this one.
Hopefully this is resolved now, but they've told me to ask you to do this (This is pretty similar to what we discussed before, so if you can try again, I would really appreciate it).
They would like you to delete the caches and cookies of your browser, and then try to do this again. Click on Revise listing->Navigate to variations->click on Edit ->click on Edit option near to Attributes and options you've selected -> you will see 'x' mark for each variation ->Click on 'x' mark for each variation ->Click on update variations -> Click on Yes.
You can delete this in 2 different ways.
1. Click on *Delete* inside the row he wants to delete to delete by unity
2. Select the checkboxes on the rows he wants to delete and then click on *Delete* above the table
And if all variations of an attribute are removed (In this case, you just have one attribute - Minifig), it remains on {+}Selected attributes and options container{+}, until removed in the edition as suggested in near to Attributes and options you've selected.
If this after following these steps you run into the same issue, they've asked me to get you to send me a video of the way you are trying to delete the variations, so they can take a further look. If you have to send a video, please feel free to do it over private messages and not here for privacy and security reasons.
Hope this works now,
Marco

Hi, thanks for that. Getting my sales to the post office atm but will check this and let you know how it goes by this evening.

Ok... this is weird. So it's now possible to delete an entry, but not in the way that tech support have advised or that the interface suggests.
The two ways they recommended to delete them (which are the ways I had reported as broken) are still broken and there's no change to how they affect a listing.
However, clicking an attribute on the following screenshotted page to grey it out, and then saving on each page to update the listing *does* remove it permanently. But you would expect to be able to delete them from the rows with checkboxes, as I reported and they suggested.

Thanks for your reply, bobsbrickstuff.
This is really good to know, even though is not working with the steps we provided, it is great to know that you have finally been able to remove these variations. I will let the team know about you got it done to see if there is anything else they can do from their end, so this can be fully resolved.
Again, sorry for the delay on this, anything else, please let me know. 👍
Thank you,
Marco
