Android eBay App "Something Went Wrong" "Reload"

1 phone 4 examples1 phone 4 examples

Image is on one phone with 4 examples of issue. I am in a home location with Wi-Fi and not the best cellular signal, but both are active. I think the issue is the App is switching between the two adapters constantly with a preference and in doing so breaks the link the app was going to.

I'm guessing this isn't a common issue but as it's a home location for me, it's constant.

It feels as if the app has many bugs but I think it's all related.

I made an offer to a seller in the App (Android Google Pixel 7 Pro (Android 16)) which was accepted but never completed. I think the network issue is the cause. It's as if the preferred network is the cellular (in my case fluctuating to weak) then Wi-Fi, so the app switches when cellular improves then back to Wi-Fi. But as I'm right on this signal level switch, it happens constant.

Yesterday I turned off my Wi-Fi on the phone and the issue seems resolved. I will update if that isn't the case. I do have two android phones the other with Wi-Fi and cellular enabled - that has these issues also. I can test with these and share the results in a day or two.

Cheers

Android eBay App "Something Went Wrong" "Reload"

After a couple of days observations I've concluded the issue is out of the scope of my knowledge. Yes, there is an improvement with fewer "Reload" pages but if I was right, there would be none. An improvement though. Not conclusive. Anyhoo, it's not that bad especially as now I'm aware of it and can also use a browser alternative on my phone device. I'll mark this as solved as it could be an issue my side too.
