i want ebay t warn sellers and buyers about scam going on within hermes courier service ,there empoyees are taking customers goods and not scanning them onto vans they are ,taking them for themself or selling them for profit, i have just been a victim of this the goods were not sent by online company but private transaction ,hermes refuse to accept responsibility for the loss despite having the proof that parcel was collected by hermes courier and taken to lcal depot in sittingbourne kent  from where ithas gone missing ,while in possesion of hermes ,despite repeated emails they refuse to accept liability i have been told to get refund from seller or replacement goods i have told them repeatedly this was not online purchase they are still passing the buck its now parcel2go thats responsible ,this scam that is happening within hermes is costing online companys millions in refunding customers for goods that have gone missing and with the current covid situation and most of the country relying on online shopping i believe that hermes should be named and shamed  and made to take responsibility for the actions of there employees or there is going to be a lot more innocent victims out of pocket and a lot of children sitting with no xmas presents thanks to hermes

A very dangerous statement with a direct accusation against Hermes and all it's staff especially its couriers. If I worked for Hermes as a courier I would be talking to a solicitor.

I personally know a Hermes courier in a nearby town and she is as honest as the day is long. 

I have been on ebay for over 15yrs and used various courier services without any problems. 

I'm not saying any carrier is 100% perfect and things will go wrong but I don't think that warrants a sweeping statement like yours.

You say this was not a online purchase so why post it on ebay.
