charged twice

hello. i listed an item but then realised i forgot to add pictures. i went on the revise item button to add pics but found i had to fill the whole thing in again. i then noticed i had 2 listings, 1 with pics and 1 without. now ive been charged 2 lots of £14.99. how can revise actually mean start again and be charged. and of course you cannot speak to ebay about it. anybody know what i should do. thanks

There is only the One Vehicle Listed that I can see. Have you checked out using a Classified Ad. (Enter it into Help and Contact at the top of the Page) is a one off Payment of £19.99 for 28 days. No other Fees, and you are allowed to add your Phone Number on there.

Thanks for your help. There is only 1 listing now as I deleted the one with no pics. I then checked my account and had been charged twice. Surely revise means edit the original not pay to go again

You didn't revise the original listing though, you ended it, then revised it and relisted.
So as far as ebay are concerned they are 2 separate listings.

Oh ok. Thanks for your help. I think I’ll avoid ebay from now on. Good value- £15 for a 15 minute advert

Try contacting customer service using Help & Contact top of page,as you relisted so soon after the other one they may cancel the original charge for you.

Not really ebays fault is it, if you list something then remove it and then relist it again, you can`t really complain about `good value` from an issue of your own making 🙂
Classifieds are much better for vehicles because there`s only one charge, you don`t get messed about by buyers, because the ad stays untill money changes hands and you remove the ad, much easier.
