Why have I not been offered the last two promotions?

I have always been glad of the eBay promotions. i.e.Sell for £1 max fee.

The last promotion [sell for 5% max fee) was not offered to me and neither was the previous promotion (can't remember exactly what that was)

My seller dashboard is always Above Standard and there are no issues.

Can anyone tell me how ebay chooses who to send these promotions to? Presumably it's a random selection of eBayers?

Just curious.

Whatever some say it is random, but is probably based on the type of activity on a members account. Some offers are more beneficial than others, I rather liked the two I have had recently which were 2% Final value Fees. Much better than Max. £1 or Max £3 if selling low vaue items. Back to £1 this weekend. There is no reason why you cannot wait for an offer. Simply enough to either use DRAFTS or I prefer Scheduling. Make a guess when the next offer will be Schedule to start over that Weekend, if no offer just reschedule for the next week . You are then ready with prepared listings when ever needed. I think you can only schedule 21 days ahead but can amend as many times as you need. Using the Seller Hob rescheduling can be done in bulk.

It is supposed to be random but it isn't.  I consistently get all the offers on one ebay account but have not got them on the other one for ages now.  That is not random.

Hey George,

Join the club ! I am in exactly the same position 2 weeks running now, have perfect ebay scoring, been a member years etc etc

Like most have prob replied already its random to get the offer...BUT ..I can tell you I have had every offer since it started.

I had many contacts with ebay customer services and found out somehow some of my preferences had been unticked. So after many calls and contact and assurances its all back up and running I am still awaiting a promo to arrive which SUCKS.

Personally speaking I wont sell anything without an offer as ebays fees are far too high nowadays....
