Use my bank account ... NOT paypal

Hello. I am NOT a business user and only sell items occasionally. I was forced into a paypal account by ebay. I do not like them or their business model.I have attempted to sell items on two occasions recently and the buyers payment has been blocked. Payment pending is the only explanation given by paypal and a 30 day hold up if payment is to go through. No explanation or communication from ebay or paypal. In the end I got so cross I closed the paypal account and cancelled the items I had for sale.

My question is ....Can I sell items and have my buyers pay me into my personel bank accout?

No, absolutely not. Read Ebay's Money Back Guarantee to learn why. It's on every listing and in various other places across the site.

All sellers will eventually be switched from PayPal to Ebay's Managed Payments, though, which will involve your buyers' payments going to Ebay (not to you as they currently do with PayPal). Ebay then deposit the processed payments in your Ebay account, and from there they are transferred to your linked bank account, minus Ebay's fees. You can read all about MP in the Seller Centre and Help pages in preparation for the switch.

However, new and infrequent sellers will always be subject to some sort of security hold, to protect both buyers and sellers from account hacking and other scams. The PayPal hold is 21 days, by the way, not 30, and if you take the time to read up on how it works, you'll learn that it's possible to get a hold released sooner.  Ebay has supplied full information in the Seller Centre and in the Help pages, and you can find full information on PayPal too.
