Reserve Listing Fees - Billed £144.32! Ebay automatically relisted several items, please help!

Hello

I recently listed and sold a few items on Ebay (novice).

I have just been billed £144.32 from EBAY UK Limited. The majority of costs are from unsold items listed on Ebay with 'Reserve Price Auction FEE.' The payment has came directly out of my paypal / bank account, and was very unexpected this close to Christmas!

Ebay kept re-listing my unsold items (I even ended listings early to prevent this), see below for breakdown of some of the fees charged;

- Item 1 (re-listed 4 times by Ebay) @ £4.99 each (not sold)

- Item 2 (re-listed 2 times by Ebay) @ £47.95 each (not sold)

- Item 3 @ £15.82 (Sold)

- Item 4 @ £5.20 (Sold)

Can someone please advise who I can speak to at Ebay regarding this? I have sent an email but I have had no response. Obviously I would not have listed such items initially if I was aware of the FEE for this listing.

Many Thanks

There is no point in speaking to Ebay, as their invoices are never wrong.

Reserves, like all listing fees, have to be paid for whether an item sells or not.

Items can only be relisted if you allowed them to be. They will not otherwise relist.

Not sure why the bill has come as a surprise to you, as not only are fees clearly listed and explained in the Seller Centre and in the Help pages, you are told exactly what each listing will cost you before you hit the 'Submit with above fees' button.

Everything you need to know about selling on Ebay, including how to list and how to manage your listings, is in the Seller Centre.

There is no Customer Support by email, so no idea where you got that idea. If you ever need to contact Ebay, which you don't on this occasion, the current options are Live Chat and Request-a-callback, both of which are accessible in Help & Contact, and available during working hours.
