People who don’t pay

Is there any way of blocking people who have history of non payments from bidding on my items?
I’m fed up of things selling and people not paying, sold something recently then sent a payment reminder. When I checked the persons page someone has left feedback saying the buyer didn’t pay 😤 opened a unpaid case but can’t see anything happening because it never does 🙄

Yes there is. I have just blocked two buyers who haven't paid.  Go into your summary page, scroll down to bottom RHC and click on unpaid. On the next page enter the buyers ID.

Of course nothing happens!!  You have to close the case to get your selling fee refunded and give the buyer an unpaid strike.

ALL information about dealing with unpaids is in HELP & CONTACT, you just have tolookfor yourself and find how the system works.

As completing an Unpaid case means no Feedback can be left, I don't know whether your rule breaking feedback will be removed but buyer could ask for it to be removed and you would get a Policy Violation which would seriously damage your ability to sell.

All you have done is to increase the Non Payers POSITIVE SCORE, showing how satisfied you were to not be paid.

Not been paid ? ... open Unpaid case/s within 32 days from item end ... return to the case and close after 4 days (5th day) if still unpaid for a refund of your selling fees and then you can relist ... neither party can leave damaging Feedback >

Set Buyer blocks here to stop them returning ... leaving Negative Feedback comments on a Positive rating is not allowed and will result in an account Defect on your account if/when reported !.  >

unfortunately you have no cause to complain as you have certified that you found not getting paid a positive experience.

The false positive you left the buyer is serious feedback abuse and announcing that they are a non-payer is not true.

In your preferences you can block buyers with unpaid strikes.

Further to the reply by pipmr.  I do not leave feedback for  my buyers until they have left feedback for me. That way you can leave reciprocal feedback if you are left neutral or negative feedback. About 50% of my buyers do not leave any kind of feedback.
