Hi,
I have had a few people message me over the last few months to say when they have tried to buy more than one item from me that they get a message to say they have reached there maximun purchase allowance from me in the last 10 days.
I can only relate this to when my account got hacked over a year ago and sipkeone was suddenly seling mobile phones on my account and had changed it to a business, I saw this right away and stopped it and ebay said they had put my account back - I have emailed ebay a few times direct and asked and they just start going over all the stuff to do with being hacked and tell me to change my password and so on, they aren't actually understanding what I am asking them about how to take this restriction off my account.
I have looked over and over at my settings but can't see where it might be, can anyone help?
Thank you Maddie x
I'm late to the party, but I just wanted to add that it's useful to know how to access information rather than rely on supplied links. That way, you'll know how to find it for yourself in future. 🙂 So pay your account another visit, and have a good look around (Account...Site Preferences...Buyer Requirements...). When you do, you'll see lots of settings that you can adjust to your particular preferences and requirements, including this one.
Also, everything you need to know about selling on Ebay, including how to manage your account, is in the Seller Centre (link at foot of any page). You also have the Help pages with their integral search to refer to (links at top and foot of any page).
Slightly off-topic, but I'm not sure how you managed to email Ebay, let alone receive a reply, as there is no customer support by email. There hasn't been for years. It's Live Chat or Request-a-callback only at the moment, and Live Chat or phone when there isn't a pandemic causing staffing issues.
