Payouts the new payment scheme is awful

The new "payout" scheme developed by ebay is a NIGHTMARE!!! Payouts dont even get to my bank, payments are held and sometimes fail, buyers sending me messages asking me what's going on. Grrrrrr

It seems apparent that eBay didnt test this facility thoroughly and this has made me really hate this site now, especially for selling purposes. Is anyone else having this problem, as it seems like a huge step backwards for this site?

I hate it too. I used to use the money I got via PayPal to help me post items and now I have to rely on good faith!! This will be the last thing I ever sell on Ebay as the new system just doesn't help the seller at all.

What a stupid design flaw this is. eBay need to think again

Yes it’s a nightmare! Sold 3 items on Saturday, 3 separate emails saying each item had sold, then 3 separate emails saying payment received please post! To find today (Monday 1700 hrs) payment still processing! I’ve posted items and they’ll be with buyer before I get paid!!!! eBay please sort this out or after over 15 years I’m moving on. Terrible system

MP is working exactly as it should, and very efficiently.  When it doesn't, I can guarantee the problem is not with Ebay but with the seller's lack of knowledge. So I suggest you carefully read or reread all the information Ebay has supplied on MP, so that you can fully understand what it is, how it works and how to properly use it.

Buyers can't be complaining about MP because they have no clue it's being used. They are not affected by MP in any way at all. They simply pay by PayPal, with their card, or whatever, just as they always have done.  If a buyer's payment fails, that's a problem at the buyer's end, not with Ebay.  You as the seller won't even know about it, as you only receive a buyer's payment in your Ebay account once it's been cleared as safe. So if you get complaints from buyers about their payments failing, as you claim, thank your lucky stars that Ebay rejected them, in order to prevent them becoming a problem for you.

I hope this helps, and wishing you all the best.

You post item when ebay tell you buyer has paid,

If you are waiting until money is in your bank, you will get lost of cases & bad feedback.

Why would buyers ask you what is going on? If a payment fails that is the buyers problem, you wouldn't even know as your item would not show as paid.

Once shown as paid it cannot change, you post out as usual.
