Partial refund before sending an item

Hi, I need to make a partial refund before sending an item. Customer already agreed, but I cannot find how to do it. Can you help me?

I would not suggest cancelling and relisting, UNLESS it is a very large amount.

No paypal Fees are now refunded so the cost of another Paypal Fee could outweigh any saving.

Good point, John but a refund from Paypal risks possibility of second refund via ebay, so cancelling may be only safe option.
