This is so bloody unfair.
I sold an item. The buyer contacted me and said he didn't want to pay and said he would pay less than the final auction sale price.
After getting nowhere with them I decided it was easier to cancel the order because he wasn't going to pay for the item or the sale price.
I had already reported the buyer to eBay as I felt the messages and behaviour were inappropriate.
Then I notice they have left me negative feedback!!!
And I don't seem to have any recourse to reply to explain what has really happened.
Everything seems stacked in the buyers favour. I have had a 100% feedback after many many years on eBay and I'm sick to the stomach thinking that through no fault of my own, I will no longer show as 100% because of this one person.
It's not fair.
I have asked eBay to retract the negative feedback.
whats are the chances it will be retracted or is there something else I can do.
thanks
I would hope that there is a good chance it will be removed when they see the buyer hasn't paid.
This is always the risk when cancelling a sale when a buyer doesn't pay instead of opening an unpaid item case.
In order to close the case the buyer has to pay or they get a strike on their account and they can't leave feedback.
