Im trying to open an unpaid item case. But the system says I have to wait until the 21st June?

Hi, I have a purchased item that has not been paid for. I have contacted the buyer twice and yet to receive payment. I wish to open an unpaid case item, but when I go through the steps online, it states a case will not be opened until the 21st June? I want to re list the item this week. Where do I stand?

OP, the other  two posters   have answered you correctly !

Go to your site preferences to adjust / amend the unpaid assistant option,   switched on  to off..

And just to add, you must NOT relist until you have closed down the case....after opening the buyer has 4 days in which to pay, if you relist before and the buyer pays you could land up with 2 buyers and only one item.

You have the Unpaid Item Assistant activated ... turn it off here and you can then manually open cases after 48 hours from sale end ... close case on day 5 onward if still unpaid and then you can relist >

Turn OFF Unpaid item assistant

To turn off Unpaid Item Assistant for a specific transaction:

1. In My eBay, find the transaction in Sold items > Awaiting payment.
2. From the More actions drop-down menu, select Turn off Unpaid Item Assistant.

Once you turn it off, you can't turn it back on for that transaction.

To turn off Unpaid Item Assistant for all future transactions:

1. Go to Unpaid Item Assistant Preferences.
2. Select No thanks - I'll use the standard unpaid item process as needed, opening and closing cases manually.
3. Select Save.
