I’ve sold an item and shipped it. How can I mark it as dispatched without using eBay postage?

Can anyone tell me how I can mark an item as dispatched please?

I wrote the delivery address on the package myself, took it to the post office and sent it. Came home to mark it as dispatched but eBay won’t let me unless I buy the required delivery label from them. 

Ive been trying for three days now but I can’t find a way to do it... anyone?

Me too, it seems that eBay want to coerce us into sending via them, I'll try for a phone call back

@battyblackbird This question is 2 years old, but you go to item in sold list, click dropdown arrow & add tracking or mark as despatched. You don't need to buy ebay postage.
