I sold an old printer - buyer asked for a refund

Hi. I sold an old printer which worked as I printed test pages out but on the listing I stated "I don't know if it works attached to a computer".  (I only have an ipad now)

The buyer hasn't messaged me at all but has opened a case to request to return it, stating it is defective and that it was bought to use on two laptops but doesn't work.

with it being an old printer, I am thinking that maybe it is because it will have old connections (ie not usb) but I don't know.  Would this have been up to the buyer to check?

As I stated that I didn't know if it would work on a computer, so do I have to accept the return?

Thanks!

Update - I agreed to take the return and paid for a Hermes label for the buyer who didn't return the item before the date I was to refund, so I asked ebay to step in.  They ruled in my favour and closed the case.

However, I am now £6 out of pocket as I paid for the return label which wasn't used.  Is there any way I can get this back?

Thanks all for your help, it was much appreciated.
