Hi All,
I'm fairly new seller on eBay so I'm slightly confused about this issue, I sold an item about two weeks ago, got paid via PayPal immediately, sent the item, I got the notification of item delivery everything went very normal. Two weeks later I got email from PayPal that someone has opened a case for ‘Unauthorized Transaction’ I provided them with tracking information once again. PayPal closed the case in my favour. Now I've received an email from PayPal that 'you’ve received a chargeback' .
Does this mean I'll be losing out the Item and the rest of the cost that goes with it ?
All you need for chargeback is proof of posting to buyers paypal address, you provided & proof of delivery, so paypal close case.
(Assuming it was buyers paypal address)
Not sure why they changed their mind, best to contact paypal & ask them.
FYI, Chargeback can be opened 13 months after sale, so you need to keep POP for this long.
