Hermes not paying out on insured parcels.

Has anyone else been subject to the totaly useless insurance policy with Hermes.

I sent a parcel  containing hi fi speakers which after 7 weeks Hermes admitted they could not find .

After setting up a claim for me they turned me down and shut the case.

I am now having to sue in the small claims court which they are contesting even though they admited they cant find it.

Did you buy the postage on Ebay...? If so, Hermes can't help you as you have no contract with them.  Your contract is with Packlink, the postage broker you paid your money to. So it is Packlink you need to lodge your claim with.

No I posted with Hermes myself.

They admitted losing it and set up a claim for me.
They turned it down in their words because it can take eight weeks to return.
It never left the country and its now ten weeks but they wont reply
There is no customer service at Hermes..they don’t answer emails and the website sends you round in a circle
Shocking company
