Has anyone else had issues with buyers being charge an Ebay tax on UK to UK sales?

This seemed to occur on Sunday night, was still an issue yesterday. Ebay reply was we are still looking into it, my buyers as you can understand are less than happy when they are being charge the tax on final value and P&P.

If seller is based in another country, you are charged 20% VAT,

ebay are aware of issue, haven't deen any resolutio yet.

What is the accepted workaround for this issue? Direct Paypal transaction are prohibited. Buyers are not going to pay until this issue is resolved, I therefore have sold items waiting for payment. This does not reflect well on Ebay.

I agree, but until ebay sort it out, don't know how get round it, they say they will refund extra payments, don't say when.

So, I've been on the chat to Customer Services again. There is still resolution to the issue, which is disgraceful. I have suggested they put a banner announcement on the site to inform customers. Unfortunately, I'm not on social media however if anyone wishes to make this issue known on those platforms, please feel free. I feel the only way they will speed this up is if they get some negative publicity, which in turn will affect traffic & sales, thus reducing their income. I'm not a happy Ebayer!
